Oxehealth's journey began in 2012 at the University of Oxford's Institute of Biomedical Engineering, where cutting-edge research and innovative thinking – led by Professor Lord Lionel Tarrassenko – laid the foundation for a novel approach to intelligent patient monitoring. With world-class technical expertise, the team focused on solving real-world problems in inpatient care and developed a solution that established an entirely new category of health technology.
Working alongside the NHS, we fine-tuned this pioneering technology to meet the specific needs of patients and frontline staff in mental health services, a sector historically underserved by innovation.
Since those early days, Oxehealth has grown into a leader in digital healthcare, working with organizations across the UK and US to improve safety, quality and efficiency in inpatient mental health care. Today, our contactless patient monitoring platform continues to shape the future of care in these settings.
At Oxehealth, we’re driven by a shared commitment to advancing mental health care. Every day, we work together to enhance the experiences of patients and the dedicated staff who support them.
